Promedio(4+5)=9???

como es posible que el promedio(4+5) de como resultado 9, no deberia dar 4,5??

Porqué estás indicando mal el argumento.

Si pones =PROMEDIO(4+5) te devuelve 9 porque el resultado es un solo valor.  9/1 = 9

La forma correcta es poner el argumento =PROMEDIO(4,5) así te dará 9/2=4.5

Orden en que Excel ejecuta las operaciones

En apoyo a la respuesta de Israel, debes usar separadores para los valores, en este caso, la coma "," ---> =PROMEDIO(4,5)

Y una coma por cada número que quieras añadir a la fiesta.
